Please note, I have lowered my reserve price for this auction. The auction is for a Nero (Black)  1991 Ferrari 348 TB. It is a great example, in excellent condition, that will provide years of high performance driving pleasure. This 348 features a naturally aspirated 3.4 liter version of the quad-cam, 4-valve per cylinder V8 engine. This is a TB (Berlinetta) hard top version. It produces 300 hp. The engine in a 348 is mounted longitudinally with a transverse 5-speed gearbox.  I am downsizing my collection of vintage cars. I bought this car from Ferrari of Houston, Texas, in 2004, after searching across the country for six months for an example in top condition. I have clean title to the vehicle and there are no liens against it. I drove the car until the fall of 2009, primarily on weekends for pleasure , often to Ferrari club events and car shows. It was always kept inside, and has been in our clean, dry, garage since that time.  While in storage the car has remained under a fitted dust cover. Fuel stabilizer was added to the tank before it was put into storage. It has been started up and run twice yearly to ensure that lubricants and fluids are circulated and systems have remained operational. The car is in fine condition overall. It starts up immediately and idles smoothly. All lights and controls work. Brakes are excellent and the emergency brake is fully operational. I believe that the car would pass a safety inspection in this state with no issues. The car stereo is aftermarket and was high end when installed. The speaker system is built in, with a high power amplifier in the front trunk. Both the leather tool kit (tools) and document pouch (manuals)are with the car and intact. The driver’s side seat adjustment handle has come off (see photo). I have a replacement available for installation that is in the glove compartment for the new owner. The front grill by the windshield has shrunk slightly, as is typical on these cars. The wheels have some minor scrapes on them, (see photos). There is some slight thinning of paint at the rear wheel wells from road wear, and very small paint missing on the reverse side of the engine deck grill louvers. There was one quarter sized spot of surface rust on driver side door well.  (I saw this on many 348s that I inspected before purchasing this one.) It was carefully sanded and repaired with a recommended rust elimination product. The car is due to have the belts and water pump replaced, as part of its regular servicing interval. This was last done when I purchased the car. All servicing during my ownership was done by Boston Sports Car (they service Bill Cosby’s cars and other collectors vintage cars).
