Ok everyone, when is the last time you saw an MGA with a warranty. I'm guessing you will say 50 years ago. Well with the extensive mechanical rebuild that this great little MG has gone through, I feel very comfortable giving a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. This MG was the original owners college car for four years and then grad school for a few more, and then parked for over 40 years. Bringing a car back from a 40+ year hibernation might operate ok for a short while, but one by one, things start to fail or become annoying, so the decision was made to rebuild every mechanical component, and what a great car to do it with, while leaving all of the stationary components original. Take a look at the original upholstery, with its matching door and kick panels, and how about the excellent side curtains that were stowed in their pouches behind the front seats. The original top was folded for too long, as it shrunk too much to erect, so I had it replaced with a new OEM style top from Robbins. This is a rust free MGA that still has all of its exceptional original floors. The original Motorola AM radio still works. All of the chrome is original and also exceptional for its age. I have every receipt for all of the work done to bring this gem back to glory. It runs and drives and handles better than it did new with today's technology, both in machine work and radial tires. The engine rebuild was extensive and updated with hardened valve seats and valve guides that are compatible with today's pump gas, so if you're thinking of taking a vacation, that includes fantasizing about reliving your youth, or if you're young, and wonder what it might have been like to cruise cross country back in the fifties, here's your chance. Come out to wine country, hang out for awhile, and cruise back on route 66, or never leave, like I did, some years ago.
