This is the car you have been looking for. 1965 Pontiac GTO, Tri-Power, 4-Speed, frame off restoration. This car was born a Tri-Power Pontiac GTO. This car has the original motor, carbs, transmission and rear end. About 3 years ago (3500 miles), this car was taken off the frame, bead blasted some metal replacement and painted the correct color, Mayfair Maize, black interior and black vinyl top. No expense was spared on this total frame off restoration, including all chrome rechromed, stainless polished, front and rear glass replaced, new interior, all professionally done. This car was restored back according to Pontiac Historic Services to how the car came from the factory. I made 3 charges from how this car came new for driveability: 1. AM radio replaced with AM/FM GTO radio, have original AM radio 2. Power steering added, no modifications needed, have original gear box 3. Car came new with wire hubcaps replaced with Rally 1 Rims This car was built first part of June 1965, 77 Heads are E265, Block WS E285, M20 wide ratio Transmission. This GTO can be driven anywhere.
