Vehicle Detail

This is a 61 Dogde seneca 4door sedan. The car is very nice for its age. It has the slant six in it and it runs and starts good but is very cold blooded. The choke isn't hooked up and it could use a carb kit. It runs great when its warmed up. I gave it a valve job a couple years ago and the motor looked really good and it has good compression. All the cylinders were within a couple pounds of eachother. The exhaust manafold does leak and will need a new gasket put in. The rest of the exhaust is good. The transmission shifts and works good but the push button system does stick sometimes. It goes into reverse and first good but you have to push it a few times to get it into drive. It probably just needs adjusting or alittle lubrication. It does go into drive but you just have to try a couple times to get it into it and once its in drive it stays and it drives and shifts good. The lights and gauges all work except for the signals. I think it just needs a new flasher. The brakes are good and the parking brake still works too. When I took it out of the shed and drove it around the yard one of the rear brakes stuck acouple times. It was when i was going very slow and when I backed up it released right away. Probably just needs to be cleaned up alittle. I've been driving the car around here once and awhile and it hasn't done it again. The body is very straight and solid too. It has very little rust on it. The floor pans and frame rails are solid and really good. There is a small rust hole in the trunk by the rear right part of the trunk pan. The right rear quarter panel has also been repaired at one time. It wasn't bad and I think they did a good job. It looks good. The rest of the car is in great shape! Especially for a 1961. The interior is pretty nice too. The dash and head liner are in excellent shape. The door cards are nice but do have alittle warping around the edges in a few places. Not bad but I just thought i should mention it. I think most of that should show up in the pictures. The seats have been recovered and are in nice shape too. I looked under them in a few places and the original seat covering is still pretty nice too. There is alot of wear and tears on the front drivers side though and there are a few stress cracks on a few other spots too. The glass is all good except for there is a chip or small crack on the windshield. This is a very nice car for its age and gets alot of attention where ever you go!!! This is a nice car and would be a great one to restore or just drive it the way it is. It will need alittle tinkering with a few small things but otherwise is mechanically sound. I would recomend trailering the car home because it hasn't been drivin much in the last couple years and should be all checked over before driving too far. The exhause manafold will need a new gasket and the brakes and push button drive are the main things that should be checked over or fixed. And maybe a carb kit?? This car is old and used so I am selling it as is. Please look at the pictures and if you have any questions please ask them before you bid!!!!!!!!! I can store this car for you for up to 6months as long as it is paid for. There is no shipping. You will have to pick this up from my shop. Thankyou and good luck bidding!!! I forgot to mention that there is some miscelanious parts in the trunk that go with the car. I think there are a pair of head light chrome trim pieces and rear tail lights and chrome trim for them too. And there are also alot of other chrome trime pieces for it. I took a picture of the spare parts that I have so you will have to look at the picture to see what else is in there. I just looked at the windshield and there are no cracks on it. I was thinking of a different vehicle. But the windshield does have some very minor scratches from the wipers and there are some stains along the bottom corners of each side of the sheild.
