1937 Rolls Royce 25/30 limousine. The 25/30's were built between 1936 and 1938 being offered to those who desired smaller cars to fit congested cities, plus offering an alternative to paying higher horsepower/license taxes on the larger and more powerful Phantom cars. The in-line 6 cylinder overhead valve engine is 4257 cc and is capable of about 70 mph. The total 25/30 production was 1201 chassis This chassis is bodied by Barker in a wonderful aluminum body finished in Black over blue. The interior features blue leather and carpet ( replaced approximately 10 years ago ) with original headliner. The wood is original and in fantastic condition. I purchased this car five years ago from a friend whos grandfather purchased the car in 1965. I have driven this car an average of 500 miles per year and never had a problem with "failure to proceed". In the spring of 2011 I had the car serviced, brakes adjusted, fluids flushed, and fully lubricated. I also had the "trafficators" ( turn signals ) restored. The fuel gauge does not work but can easily be corrected. The phone from the rear compartment to the driver still works like a charm. I am happy to provide specific photos, please email and ask.
