1969 Dodge Coronet R/T This is a genuine "Barn Find" that is a true survivor car. This is a prime opportunity to finally get that true R/T that you've always wanted. In this day and age there are not many more of these true un-molested numbers matching Big Block Mopars to be found. I've only owned this car for about a month, but I will explain everything I know about it. From everything I was told about this original Coronet R/T it has the original paint, the original numbers matching Big Block 440/375 horsepower high performance engine, 727 torque-flite transmission, and the original 8 3/4 sure grip rear-end. I'm a 442 guy, so I know Oldsmobiles. If anyone would like to know any of the other numbers for sure, they just need to tell me where to look. I also welcome anyone to come out and check this sweet Big Block B-body for themselves. Everything really really looks original on this car, and I was told nothing was tampered with except for maybe the nice rear trunk lid. I could see no signs of this car ever being involved in an accident. The L in the vin number stipulates that this car did come from the factory with the high performance 440 Magnum engine. I checked those numbers myself and they do match. This 440 Magnum engine has headers with dual exhaust. It is very hard to find an original R/T with its original engine. This is an extremely rare find! I have too many projects going on to bring this true R/T back to what it was born like in 1969. This car does sit level. It is on a slope in my back yard as shown in the pictures. I have not attempted to start up this big block. I will leave that treat up to the next owner. The front bumper and headlights are missing. The rear panel for inbetween the tail lights is also missing. The back bumper is straight. This car still has the original AM radio, but I haven't checked anything on this car to see if it works. The engine is missing the coil, and the lower pulley under the water pump. The air cleaner is not original to this car, and I don't believe the battery is any good. This big block has the 150 mph speedometer. I'm simply selling this car as needing a complete restoration. Everything will need to be gone through on this car. There are new seat covers on the front seats, and the carpeting is new with new floor mats, but I would suggest that the entire interior be redone. The drivers inside door skin is missing, but I do have the arm rest with the backing plate. The rears floors are still good, but the front floor pans have been replaced with sheet metal. Naturally to do the car right you would want to replace the front floors with the proper floor pans. The trunk pan and rear quarter panels will need replacement as well. The trunk lock is missing. I would have shown the inside of the trunk, but I worked on trying to get it open for over a half hour and gave up. I believe anyone buying this car will want to do it right. I have personally seen these cars bring over $60,000 at a live Barrett-Jackson auction. Naturally this car will need a complete restoration to bring it up to those standards. All of these parts are readily available in aftermarket at a wide variety of suppliers. If you take this car and do it right, it will pay huge dividends. This Mopar has Magnum 500's with all four centers, and trim rings. The tires are old school ply tires. This is an awesome chance to turn a dream into reality, and with some hard work and elbow grease this true R/T can be brought back to its former glory.
