The body is solid with only minor surface rust and shows no signs of major repair, in the pictures I try to show what I see is the only repair which is on the top of the passenger door where I can see some paint touch up and at the very rear of the right quarter panel about a 1" inch diamater spot that looks like old reair. The frame and floor pans are solid and not rusted as you can see by the pictures.Paint is showing its age but not all faded out just thin in places from polishing. Someone did spray undercoat on the lower rockers as shown in the photos but body is solid under the coating. The car runs good and does not smoke, the engine is quiet, clutch feels good and brakes stop. I have driven the car but only a few miles. It looks like the previous owner installed a after market top and there is a aprox. 8" inch log cut in the top on the passenger side.The trim is in good condition, the insturment panel wood needs to be replaced and knobs refurbished, lights, horn and gages work with the excetion of the temp gage which needs a sending unit replaced. This car has great potential, can be driven now with very little work to assure car is road worthy or a full restoration with out having to do any major body repair. I feel the miles are true but have no way to know for sure. The car is offered with reserve but I have set the reserve at what I think is a resonable price, which should leave the buyer with room to restore and still have a good value.
