TRUCK IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY Vehicle Overview: This truck has been the most amazing diesel truck I have ever owned, yes this is my personal truck. I have had every diesel that the big 3 auto manufactures have made and again I cannot express how much joy this truck has been. I have maintained it thoroughly and properly, oil changes every 3500 miles, fuel filter changes every other oil change, flushed all the fluids in the diffs, transmission, t-case every 20-25K. If you are unfamiliar with a Duramax engine or Allison transmission in the life expectancy I can assure you that this truck is a 500K truck. I have used it to commute between Colorado and Alabama, hauling our camper around with our dirt bikes and that's it, never used for city driving. I did have a B&W Gooseneck added but it has been for show more than anything. From the first start on a cold morning she fires right up, a few minutes of warming up and she's ready to go. Everyone knows the reputation Cummins has and I wont dispute it, I have had one and it would a great engine except for the automatic which means if you want a reliable Cummins set up you are forced into a manual, not with the Duramax, engine is just as tough, might even be more powerful and trust me the most important thing you will want out of a heavy duty truck is a reliable transmission - this Allison set up rocks, it has your standard tow mode but better yet it allows you to shift like its a manual with the touch of a button, you can literately go up and down the hills and mountains without touching your brakes, it does have a on-board brake controller built in. Other options include power locks and windows, tow mirrors, rear window defroster, remote start, power seat, CD-player with MP3 hookup, Onstar, and I am sure i am missing a few. I know those new 2012 trucks are tempting and sometimes its a must to just go buy brand new but this truck is still new without the original price tag of $45K and one of the best things I love about it, is its the last year they made where you do not have to add that exhaust fluid, in 2010 in became a requirement of the Chevrolet and GMC Duramax trucks. The inside is overall clean with one tear in the driver seat right where you slide your butt in and out, some of the silver trim inside has some color defects but this I am pretty sure is a GMC flaw. The outside shines up nice, has a few dings here and there and bed is dinged up as well, watch the videos and you will see just how nice it is, the undercarriage is in great shape with the tires in good shape they have about 15K on them, suspension is perfect, 4x4 works flawlessly. I would be willing to touch up a few areas of your choice like the driver seat, etc if we agree on a price. Also you get a $900 tool box from weather guard with keys included. This is a very nice truck and will make someone very happy for years to come.
