This TURBO is priced to sell!! I have had it for 60 days and it is very fun to drive. It starts every time and is faster than most cars on the road! I would keep it to play with, but it needs a little work to pass emissions and I don't have the time (and I wanna buy a motorcycle instead :)) A temporary tag is granted for 60 days until the emissions test is passed or exempted. Please see the information below (in bold) that the gentleman I purchased the car from provided to me: For sale is my used but in very good condition 1993 Audi S4 (URS4) 2.2L (5cly) Turbo, All Wheel Drive (AWD), 4 Door Sedan. The vehicle is in very good running condition. Any Audi enthusiast/mechanic of the cars time will tell you that these engines are “bullet proof” and that Audi should have keep producing them. The engine and Turbo are strong and from what the previous owned told me this car has no modifications done to it and had a clear title. The mechanics I took this car to have also stated this car is all original and appears to not have been modified as far as they could tell except for aftermarket rims and a lowered suspension. I have owned this vehicle since 2009 and I believe I am the fourth owner from looking at the old carfax that the previous owner gave to me. The previous owner got this car at a dealer auction. The VIN number is WAUHP84A9PN047621 should you wish to run a carfax report on it. I used this vehicle primarily as a weekend car, but I have also used it on occasion during the summer months to make in state trips and I have also traveled one long distance trip to the east coast with the vehicle. As you can see in the photos the exterior looks good, but of course has some minor dings and chips. Considering the year I believe this to be ‘normal wear and tear”. The all leather interior is also in very good condition with very little signs of wear. The vehicle runs very well and starts ever time. I have put a lot of maintenance work into it over the years. I have been running 10W-30 in Castrol Edge synthetic in the winter months and 10W-40 Mobile one high mileage synthetic in the summer months. Here is a list of maintenance items I had completed (Work performed at Import Auto tech in Colo Springs): Replaced the power steering pump and flushed the PS fluid 7/23/2010. Replaced the timing belt, water pump, t/b idler and coolant 2/25/2010. Replaced the #2 engine coil, front and rear brake hoses, DOT 4 brake fluid and ignition control unit 7/24/2009 (note: there are two ignition control units and when this one was replaced I order another and replaced the second one myself so both are now new). Replaced the accessory drive belt, thermostat, upper and lower coolant hoses, trans and differential fluids, and the therm housing 6/03/2009. Independent mechanic work performed: Replaced the main power steering fluid line 1/12/2011. Everything seems to function okay on the car. The only issues I can think of would be during the cold start there is a very slight pulley whine, but it goes away when it’s warmed up. I have yet to locate this slight noise at start up and the auto technicians couldn’t either. They originally thought it was the power steering pump, so I replaced that as indicated above and the noise was still there. One of the electronic mirror switches are reversed, so when you press the left button the mirror goes right, and the same for the up/down. The heated front driver seat control does not work. I was told by the technicians that eventually because of the mileage I will have to replace the clutch, but it works fine for me right now so I never felt the need to replace. Has the original owners manual. What’s the price????? Well, after doing some market research on blogs, enthusiast websites, ebay and some other private area listings the sales price varies widely. Some cars are sold that have little or no maintenance care done to them at all (note: Ive seen some that appear to have been very neglected I must say) for around 2000-4000. Others sell as “first owner” cars (even without maintenance records) for 4000 for -up. Some are listed as “track cars” that were modified for $7000+ . Additional things I have found:1. This car failed its last emissions test. (It runs great, and I was told that it probably just needs a tuneup to pass. Worst case scenario for an old car under Colorado law is that if it won't pass after $750 is spent trying, an exemption is granted.) 2. Trim is coming up slightly.3. The sunroof functions perfectly, but the switch is very sensitve and will sometimes open while driving. It is easily closed again.4. Key for keyless entry needs a battery. This Audi S4 is being sold “As is” and with no warranties expressed or implied. I am a private seller and not a dealer. Payment must be made in the form of a cash payment during the time you take possession of the car and the title. Please note: the current plates on this vehicle do not transfer with the car. It is your responsibility to acquire both the necessary plates and insurance for this vehicle. Email with any questions and thanks for looking.***This car is also for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it sells before a bid is placed.***
