Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo with removal Targa top. I got this Supra from a friend of mine last year with plans to give it to my son who just got his license this week. My wife and I agree that it's much to quick for a 16 year old as a starter car. As you can see from the pictures the car is in great shape. This car has been taken care of, there is no rust on the body, the interior is not ripped or torn and the Targa top does not leak. The power windows work, the Toyota radio has been replaced with a nice CD player that has bluetooth capabilities. As you can see the paint is still glossy, there are a few nicks and chips, but overall in good shape. I tried to take some good pictures of the engine so that you can see some of the work that was done. Right before I parked it in my garage for the winter, it had the complete timing belt done to include 2 Cam seals, crank seal, oil pump seal and water pump. It also had rear brakes and rear brake rotors replaced. The car starts right up and runs fine, the transmission shifts just like it should. The boost gauge was replaced with an aftermarket which you can probably see from the pictures. The tires are good to fair. When I took it out of the garage yesterday to take pictures, the air conditioner was only blowing cool, not ice cold, the compressor is engaging and everything is operational and working as it should, I personally would give it a shot of freon to get it icy cold. This Supra has not been beat up and is in good working order but it is 22 years old so it will be sold "as is" and I can't guarantee it or warranty it to anyone but I would not hesitate to go cross county in it. I am putting a reasonable reserve so that the car will sell so that I can buy my son a truck. If you have any questions please feel free to email me, I will be gone a lot this week but will do my best to respond quickly. If you have less than 5 positive feedback, please email me if you decide to bid. If you are the winning bidder and you decide to fly into Atlanta (as I live in one of the suburbs) I will be glad to meet you somewhere so that you can get the car. If you need it shipped I will be glad to take the car to a local shipper but the winning bidder is responsible for making all the arrangements. I have tried to describe the vehicle accurately and honestly and I don't believe the winning bidder will be disappointed. Thank you for your interest and have a great day!
