Vehicle Detail

I bought this Suzuki in Colorado, stock and rust free, in 2004. The previous owner, from Arizona, primarily towed it behind his motorhome. The actual driven mileage was unknown but the odometer then read approx. 38,xxx. Since owning it I have made major upgrades. This has been used as a daily driver since I’ve owned it yet I have tried to make it a capable trail rig. It has never been run on rated trails or competitions, mostly just forest roads. This rig is currently set up to run on propane only. This improves its off-angle operation and is a cleaner, and cheaper, fuel. Due to propane’s limited availability in some areas this may not be for everyone; however, by adding a gas tank, fuel lines, and a Weber carburetor it can be converted back to gasoline operation fairly easily. Here is a list of the upgrades:· Aluminum Door Handles (Trail Tough).· Removable Doors and Quick Straps.· Diamond Plate Door and Side Panels (JT Outfitters).· Polyurethane Liner; on inner tub. (Durabak).· Propane Conversion Kit (GotPropane.com).· Re-useable Air Filter.· Exhaust Header (Calmini). · Steering Wheel; aftermarket (Grant).· Powdercoating (all door & side panels, dash, bumper, sliders).· Coil Spring suspension Lift w/ OTT Steering. (Rocky Road; installed by Avalanche Engineering).· Fender Flares. (Bushwacker).· Custom Plate Front Bumper (Shrockworks).· Rock Sliders (Shrockworks).· Aluminum Dash (Petroworks).· Sound Deadener throughout cab, doors (Dynamat).· Clicky Starter Fix (ZukiCreations).· Newer bucket seats with fold down armrests (from an Astro van).· 105 Amp Alternator (Petroworks).· New Gauges (GlowShift).· 235/75 R15 Summit CT Trail Climber tires. 16/32 tread remaining. Steel chrome rims (some rust).· 4.9 Transfer Case with Twisted TT shift pattern (Trail Tough).· Mighty Kong T-case w/ Solid Mounts. (Trail Tough). SERVICES PERFORMED:· New Windshield. (2007)· New Timing Belt, Crank Seal, Cam Seal. (2007)· New Throttle Cable. (2007)· Repack front wheel bearings. (2008)· New Starter. (2008)· New High Strength ball joint rod ends for track bar. (2010)· New Clutch, throwout, pilot, pressure plate, resurface flywheel. (28 SEP 2011)· Tune-up: new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, oil change. (13 OCT 2011)· New Distributor Mount O-ring. (OCT 2011) It comes with these extras:Two – seven (7) gallon forklift tanks.A power steering conversion not yet installed. The engine is stock (1.3L) except for the propane conversion. The transmission, driveshafts, axles and gears are stock. It runs well and doesn’t smoke. There is one small oil leak towards the front of the motor – unknown where it’s coming from. The body is straight with no major crushes, only minor dings. No major rust rot only surface spots. The paint is faded. It will do highway speeds but is better around town. It gets approx. 18 mpg. It requires no ignition key to start – just a switch and a push button. Doors lock and have a key.The only negative to disclose is an undiagnosed noise/ rattle/ vibration through the driveline – it’s very noisy when shifting or coasting in neutral. I know it needs a new u-joint on the intermediate driveshaft and most likely new u-joints on the rear driveshaft. Overall, I have $13,000+ into it. NO RESERVE! Not included * but available for additional cash over selling price:· Dash installed GPS unit - functions as speedometer and tripometer. (Garmin) ($75)· 33 x 10.5 Mud Terrain KM2 (BF Goodrich; 13/32 tread remaining) mounted on mag wheels & front wheel balancers (Centramatic). ($500)· 2 additional 10 gallon forklift tanks. ($200)· Flat tow bar & towing lights. ($100)*(Should the winning bid be over $5000, the above items will be included at no cost.) As with any vehicle this old and modified, it is sold as-is – there are no expressed or implied warrantees. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.Pick up is the responsibility of the buyer.
