Up for auction is a completely original 1930 Buick Coupe.A very solid, mostly unrestored car, in Buick's biggest series for 1930. It has (I think) a huge 331 cu. inch 6-cylinder engine--the last year before Buick went to all 8-cylinder engines. This is a very desireable body style, with very desireable wire wheels and dual side-mounted spares. Wow! The wood in the body looks to be very good all original and in great shape. No rot anywhere. The interior work needed is not too overwhelming, just a headliner and maybe side panel upholstery; seats look fine for their age. I think it is a wonderful, wonderful car in very fine condition for its age! 1930 Buick model 68 5 pass coupe on the 132" wheelbaseThis is a 60 Series 2 door with side mounted spare tires and luggage rack at the rear of the car. This car has it's original interior and had it engine and transmission restored several years ago. It ran very well before it was put in storage and is currently stored in a control environment. I am Currently having the car serviced and verifying that it continues to run well and needs no major work. The body needs some TLC, but is all original. Gas tank is in need of replacement or renew. Spare Tires need new tubes and should be ok. This vehicle is being sold as is/where is. There is no warranty or guarantee. It will be sold to the highest bidder after the reserve is met. On Apr-05-12 at 16:07:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to let everyone know......... had the carburetor cleaned and ran the engine today. Ran great! I am having the fuel pump rebuilt just to make sure that the car will run adequately for transfer and will not provide any issues during shipping. As stated in the body of my auction the gas tank needs repair and I will provide a gas can for shipping purposes. I have also LOWERED MY RESERVE AND BUY IT NOW PRICE.
