Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1989 Trans Am Festival car number 76. The car was purchased approximately seven years ago. I pulled the motor and spent nearly $8000 on the block and heads alone. The motor has been completely balanced and blueprint. Steel main caps(all of them just not the center two), aftermarket harmonic balancer, Molly wrist pins, custom-made Pistons, Molly pushrods, roller camshaft, copper exhaust gaskets, copper had gaskets, heavy duty oil pump, engine block has been line bored and completely gone through, the motor was basically done to appear factory on the outside, but an unlimited budget on the inside, all receipts are available, air distribution plate in intake. 3 inch stainless steel exhaust. Aftermarket waste gate, Reprogram chip, trans-brake (the one that locks first and reverse together) transmission was rebuilt at 68,000 miles by previous a owner. An obvious other new parts. The interior is in good shape but not perfect, see photographs, the paint is faded, and is showing primer in some spots. Car also has small paint chips no major body damage and no accidents original paint. This is a Festival car so it is very rare I have all documentation from Pontiac from their historical division, I believe the service is no longer available but I'm not sure. I am selling this car to things reformations of my house is ashame because I will not even be able to get for this car what I have into the motor alone let alone the original $11,000 price I paid, unfortunately we all know what this is like. I believe my reserve is reasonable for this car. I have gotten over 27 miles a gallon on the interstate so it is also very efficient. No idea on horsepower. I can assume the motor could handle well over 500 hp on its present built, but is only pushing factory boosts. You should also look at my other auctions I am selling thousands of dollars worth of original parts that I've collected over the years. I also have another Turbo Trans Am for sale, see my other auctions.
