Up for auction is a major project 1966 fastback. What comes in the auction is: -This body which is almost beyond repair, smart money would be to graft this fastback roof onto a solid fastback. That said I am sure you all know that this car could be restored as they make every piece to replace the rotted metal. I had a line on a great 1965 hardtop shell for $300 but I lost that guys number and I have yet to find a decent coupe body. Since that time I have had some medical issues and I am realizing that I cannot undertake this project (no time soon) so I will sell this project and another Mustang I have as well. -Clear Mustang title /CLEAR proper and transferrable title in my name. (In hand). -Fastback rear window -matched pair of fastback door glass. I will work with you loading this car onto a trailer/it doesn’t move or steer very easy but I can say it would load (as I loaded it and off loaded it to where it is at this time) I will also say that I would be completely willing to take about an hour of my time and trim off anything that you might not want to take with you. This is a 3 day auction and no reserve. Obviously anyone looking for such a project will see that the roofs alone go about 1500 and that’s for just the metal and not the glass that could be worth several hundred easily and of course the main ingredient in making this a car again is the Vehicle identification number and title. There has been alot of questions and alot of traffic. 1961 people have viewed the auction, 98 are watching. That said there are only 6 bids. and by less than that in numbers. I guess in the bidders game you need 2 to make a party and 3 make it real fun. so lets assume there are about 90 plus watchers/are any of them bidders?? Just having some fun here. I have sold other mustangs on ebay but I cant remember when I have had so much fun and excitement. AND.. I really hope someone takes this car and builds the heck out of it, I would but it would probably be a year before I will be physically able to get involved again (so repeating myself that is why it is for sale).
