FRESH OUT OF AN ESTATE IN WEST TEXAS 1968 Datsun 2000 roadster sports convertible. Pretty nice car that needs restoration in order to be a show winner. Engine starts and runs but needs a fuel pump. I have not driven the car, but I did add brake fluid and got a pedal. I don't know a lot about this car, but the gentleman who had the car bought it from an individual in Littlefield, Texas. The car was stored for a time on a farm in Tennessee. During that time vandals broke into the barn where it was stored and shot the passenger's side with a shot gun, hitting the door, rear quarter, and windshield. The blast did not break out the windshield but did enough damage that a replacement is needed. After viewing the damage, the owner found a parts car that provided a replacement door. That parts car, including a lift off fiberglass top is included in this auction. The bodies of both cars are solid with rust free floors. The convertible top is in excellent shape, but the dash needs a new pad. Three bumpers come with the car. Telephone (806) 773-1530 for more information. I will respond promptly to email inquiries. I don't know where I came up with 2000 for a model # since both cars are clearly badged 1600 on each side. Thanks to all of you alert Datsun lovers who were quick to spot my mistakes.
