Vehicle Detail
Here is a true rarity. A 1995 Del Sol that is original and not cobbled together to make some kind of race car.Two owners, both school teachers. Present owner is a 71 year old retiree.I have owned the car the past 7 years and it's starting to get a littler harder to get into and out of.This car has recently had all new brakes and master cylinder, Timing belt and water pump. New front axles and new batteryto the tune of $2500. Engine does not burn oil and transmission shifts properly. The motor is the SOHC 1.6 with VTEC valves.Have noticed slight oil seepage around the motor block. Does not affect performance. The car has AC but very rarely used as it's a convertible. Automatic 4 speed, Power steering, brakes, windows, door locks, mirrors.fog lights. Power rear windowwith defroster. There are both driver and passenger airbagsThere is a Cobra alarm with a code. Am/ FM/ cassette with 10 cd changer in the trunk. The top is a targa that stores inside the cavernous trunk in its out of the way special holderin its out of the way special holder, Trunk is almost as large with the top in or out. The paint is original and in very good shape for a 17 year old car. The body is rust free except for a small spot on the left rear fender. Easy to fix. There are some scratches and a dent on the left front fender and front bumper. I keep a Bra/mask on the front of the car and it gives it an aggressive look. The parking light/ directional lens on the left front is missing. The is a non functional air scoop on the hood that makes the car stand out.The interior is original with no rips or tears, The arm rests have the Honda wrinkle that they all get after a few years By 1995 Honda had fixed the leaks the plagued the earlier Del Sol's with new rubber seals. This is not a perfect car, But it is one of the few original Del Sols left.If you want to keep it as is, you will get lots of 35 mile to the gallon fun. especially in warm weatherIf you are looking to turn it into a tuner I guess that is possible. I have nothing against modifications. My every day driver is a 2011 WRX.I would hate to see thiscar butchered. Do it right! If you hit the buy it now I will include four aftermarket 16" rims with 3 good Toyo 205/245/16 Proxess tires. the 4 th tire was a blowout. There are no accidents. The title is clear. You can drive this home or arrange to have it shipped. That will be the buyers responsibility.I live on Long Island NY about 70 miles East of NYC in a rural area.Riverhead, NY 11901.I have tried to describe this car honestly. If you buy it now I expect full payment in order to stop the auction,If you are high bidder I would like a $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hours deposited in my PayPal account.the balance within 7 days through Paypal. Certified bank check that clearrs and is deposited in my bank or cash at the time of pick up.I can help with shipping from my home address.Don't bid if you are not serious. Any questions can be directed to The ask the seller questions format. If properly maintained it is not unusual to see these cars with 250/ 300000 miles on the odometer Good luck.
