1978 FJ40. Completely original. Engine rebuilt 86k ago. No leaks. Runs perfect and idles smooth without missing, smoke or hesitation. Just drove it 400 miles from my deer camp at 60 mph no problems. Original factory radio dial lights turn on but no sound. Rusty in the usual spots. Glass is perfect no cracks. No rips or tears on interior seats.On Mar-27-12 at 07:39:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Wow, thanks for all the questions. I will try and answer them here. The 86k mileage is not total original mileage on the chassis but on the rebuilt engine. Actual mileage unknown.Top has apparently never been off and this is supported by look of the interior top screws which are unmarked. Headliner tight and clean without snags or sagging. Never wrecked, cut upon, nor painted (except front bumper/exposed frame piece).Steering wheel not cracked. Some cracks on dash as seen in pictures. Everything works/functions as expected for 35 years, except no sound from radio. All gauges and switches work fine. Some pull knobs may be tired or stiff, but everything there, except 2 hubcaps, few bulbs, dome light cover, and one badge on right side of hood. Do have the spare tire swing arm latch and have jack and its extension arms. No tool bag or tools. Owners manual in glove box, but well read/worn.Dogs not for sale, although young one gives wife some grief, so keep trying; she is cute. Selling Cruiser due to growing family.
