The La Grange Illinois Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale: Maroon 1999 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck with ladder rack and a mileage of 142,460 This is a seized/forfeited vehicle and MUST be sold according to Illinois law through an auction-style setting such as eBay. There is no Buy-It-Now option or Best Offer option. The vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder after the starting price is satisfied (priced to sell)!! The vehicle has a working AM/FM stereo. The vehicle has working A/C blower, however, the A/C will need to be charged. The vehicle has a steel ladder rack in very good condition. The vehicle has a plastic bed liner in the approximately 8 foot bed. The vehicle runs very well with no known major mechanical or other problems. The tires are fair to good condition. The gray interior cloth bench seats are in fair to good condition. We did not notice any fluids leaking from the vehicle, transmission appears to be fine, power steering appears to be fine, and the vehicle appears to drive well. The vehicle will need brakes ASAP. The vehicle will eventually need a new battery and a tune up, as it has been stored inside for the past several months (vehicle starts and runs just fine now though). The ABS light is illuminated on the dashboard. There is no spare tire for the vehicle. Lastly, there are several small scratches, "dings," and dents throughout the vehicle. The vehicle does show normal wear-n-tear and is in very good shape considering it's age and that it was used by a contractor. The vehicle (again) is a seized/forfeited vehicle and MUST be sold according to Illinois law through an auction-style setting such as eBay. There is no Buy-It-Now option or Best Offer option. The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with no existing warranty, neither express nor implied. The winner bidder is responsible for the pick up of the vehicle or making arrangements for a private shipping service at their own cost. Due to the vehicle being sold AS IS and with no warranty, we suggest potential bidders view the vehicle in person, as there may be defects or undetected problems we are not aware of. Bidders may have an independent inspection completed on the vehicle prior to bidding at their own expense. All sales are FINAL and there will be no price adjustments given.
