The La Grange, Illinois Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale: Amber Fire Pearl (colored) 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport Crew Cab with a mileage of 97,770 This vehicle is NOT a seized/forfeited vehicle; it is personally owned by an employee. It is extremely clean, well kept, and runs well! The vehicle is 6-cylinder, 2WD. It has the crew cab (4-door). The interior is gray fabric and extremely clean/well kept. The vehicle has power windows, power door locks, and power/heated mirrors all in working condition. All signals, lights, and lamps are in good working order. The vehicle has working A/C and cruise control. The vehicle has a working stereo/cassette player. The vehicle has an illuminated glove box. The vehicle has a large locking trunk bolted to the bed. The bed of the vehicle has a sprayed bed liner in good condition and has multiple tie-down hooks. The bed size is approximately 5 1/2'. The vehicle has a hitch and the tires are in fair to okay condition. The brakes, transmission, power steering, etc. all appear to be in good working order. There are NO known mechanical or other major problems known-the vehicle is in VERY GOOD condition. The oil has been changed religiously every 3,000 miles with records being kept. The vehicle has ABS and alloy wheels. The trade-in value through NADA is $5,200.00 and the retail value through NADA is $7,525.00. It is being listed far below the value-a great deal!! The front passenger (only) window button is not currently working. There is minor rust on the rear passenger side wheel well (see enclosed photos). There is minor rust/paint bubbling on the rear driver's side wheel well. There is a very small dent in the rear passenger side corner, minor scratches in the rear passenger side rear door, very minor scratches in the hood, and very minor rust spots on the rear bumper. The vehicle's body is in excellent shape and shows normal wear-n-tear for it's age. The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with no existing warranty, neither express nor implied. The winning bidder is responsible for the pick up of the vehicle or making arrangements with a private shipping service at their cost. There is no Buy-It-Now option or Best Offer option-vehicle will go to highest bidder from starting price!
