This is an ultra rare Cabriolet 6 cylinder automatic transmission. Custom running boards, new interior mechanically sound, great straight body, no rust. I ma not a dealer. This is my own personal vehicle. I have owned 4 G Wagons over the years. These cabriolets are the funest and most valuable of them all. I have owned this vehicle for approximately five years. Rare custom soft top with removable hard top on cab with pop up sunroof. Flared wheel wells, updated grill and new wheels and tires. I figure whoever is looking to buy this has already done their research and understand what this vehicle has to offer. The biggest issue with these trucks at this age is rust. i have had extensive work done to cut out an remove any signs of rust from the tail gate area recently. I have pictures of the process to anyone seriously interested. I have a great 100% rating. I have been an e bayer sine March of 1998. I have sold my own cars over the years with no complaints. I took detailed close pictures of any imperfections I could see. On Mar-25-12 at 14:14:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding additional disclosures as I have had a lot of interest in this listing. I added a few more pictures. They include the engine, and interior. i also added a picture of the pop out sunroof which is very rare. A picture of a tear in the seam of the soft top is added. It does not leak but a upholstery technician I know had pointed this out to me recently. It is reparable. He explained it is probably because of the top expanding in the cold/heat. A note about the mileage. The odometer is in Kilometers and reads 120K. Frankly I noticed it was not working and honestly I do not know when it stopped. I probably put on about a 1 000 miles a year on this at best. The speedometer does work. The tachometer does not. Temp gas pressure ect all work. Interior lights do not work. The heater does work and fan. I'm trying to disclose all that I can. An interested party pointed out the history report disclosded a accident. It was a minor fender bender involving the driver side front fender. No frame or other damage to speak of. Also, there was something about this being a diesel at some point. To my knowledge that is not correct. This vehicle has a clean and transferable Maryland titile. Also, a few local interested parties have expressed an interest in inspecting this.
