1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000!!! Here is a gorgeous 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 that looks absolutely gorgeous and runs beautifully!!! This Alfa is finished in a beautiful Red over a black leather interior, sitting on a great looking set of Cromodora wheels. This great piece of Italian motoring comes with its original warranty card showing the car came from San Diego California!!! The car has recently been mechanically overhauled and the classic 2000cc twin cam four cylinder has been rebuilt and topped with twin weber side draught carbs on factory European manifolds. The car runs fantastic and has that great classic Italian car sound. The car was also just repainted and looks absolutely gorgeous. The interior has been given a "Lusso" style interior featuring quilted black leather with contrasting stitching. The car is in excellent shape inside and out. Best of all this is a documented rust free California Car. These Alfas are great modes of transportation and were ahead of their time when new, from the twin cam 4 cylinder engine to the 5 speed gear box. These cars were fantastic on the track and are still dominant in vintage racing today. This rust free Alfa Romeo is a great collector's item, that is surely to appreciate in value over the years. Click to enlarge Exterior: The Classic Italian red paint on this classic is in great condition and looks stunning on the Italian coachwork. The body is nice and straight and free of rust. The paint job is of high quality and looks fantastic. It was done by a high end body shop with many coats of clear. This was not a simple scuff and shoot paint job. The body work is very nice and you can tell that much of the car was dismantled when painted. All of the glass and weather stripping is in excellent condition. This car is sitting on a great looking set of Cromodora wheels and the grill looks beautiful. Overall this is an excellent looking GTV!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful "Nero" Black Leather interior is new and is in excellent shape. The seats feature a gorgeous quilted pattern down the center of the seats and are very comfortable since they were rebuilt with new foam. The interior of these Alfas is a very pleasant place to spend time in whether you are of average size or tall, either way there is plenty of room in these cars and are very comfortable. The interior is complemented with a great feeling wood steering wheel which feels great in your hand. All of the wood paneling on the interior has also been replaced. All of the gauges work and the dash is in excellent condition complete with a Becker Mexico radio (It is currently not hooked up). The black carpet is new and free of tears, burns and stains. The interior of this car has been expertly trimmed and looks fantastic. Click to enlarge Engine: This classic 1974 Alfa Romeo features a rebuilt twin cam 2000cc engine that runs great! The car starts right up and runs like a top without blowing any smoke!!! This car has been very well kept and maintained throughout the course of its life. The engine has recently had the cylinder head rebuilt and gone through as well as being treated to a new cap and rotor, wires etc... The transmission shifts beautifully as well. Really this car just needs a new owner to enjoy it!!! The engine runs beautifully without skipping a beat and emits that classic Italian sports car sound. The clutch pedal feels great and the brake pedal is firm and very responsive. The only things that I have come across that doesnt work is the A/C/heater This is a factory air car. All of the lights and signals are in good working order. This is a very smooth driving car that drives beautifully and is a blast to drive. Overall, this is a great driving Alfa Romeo.
