Vehicle Detail
Your next rod project ! This is my mocked-up, 1934 Dodge Cab number 9243076 on a 1934 Dodge sedan chassis with your choice of either a small truck dump body and the dump chassis or an original pickup box. I had considered putting this together as a working small dump, but I will never get to it; so now it's your turn. This is a roller project. The cab is from a Kismet, Kansas grain truck and is super solid, lots of dents. a bullet hole or two, and a few tears, reinforcement needed at the passenger's door B pillar, but no rot in the cowl corners. The chassis is from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and it is surprisingly solid without any rot at all. You have a choice of grille shells: one grille shell is from Raleigh, one from North Dakota, and one from Oklahoma; ya dont get all three, just pick the one you would like. The headlamps are from a 30 or 31 Dodge, also have a nice set of Guide BLC headlights are from Salt Lake City that I will throw in with the project if the Dodge headlamps dont suit your likes. The 9 inch Ford rear is out of a 60s Galaxy from Brandon, Florida, although I will trade it for an early Dart rear ( see photo ). The chassis is just sitting on the front axle set which is out of a '54 Dodge pickup from New Jersey and has a mean 'Z' design. This project is from all over tha map. The chassis wheelbase looks to have been about 117 inches, The top of the cab is at about 64 inches...yes, she sits lowww. If you have been looking for a cool project, then here she is. Those who know me are well aware that it is unusual for me to sell my project vehicles; I collect and touch them. A couple of months ago, I experienced a change in life, and now I am selling off the vehicle and parts projests that I cannot get to. I can securely store for as long as you need, on our property, and I might be able to deliver on my next cross-country run to New Hampshire, then to Oregon via California, in the next months ( East Coast Roadtrip in early June or my Best Coast Run later this summer ). For you local rodders, please come by and take a look. Ask questions and if you would like more photos, please let me know. I have more photos and can take more, just let me know. Please ask questions. Enjoy !
