1967 Honda CL

I purchased this bike in 1981 for a project. I brought her home, stripped her down completely and made plans to refinish and rebuild her. I had owned a 1968 CL77 when I was in High School ( I graduated in 1971) and I guess I wanted another one to remind me of the good-ole days. Almost immediately after I brought her home, I found out that my wife was pregnant with our first. The bike project was put on the back burner. Over the years, I slowly bought new parts, refurbished existing parts, chromed parts a little at a time, painted parts, rebuilt the engine, etc. I didn't actually get into the rebuild until around 1998 when my youngest son turned 12. We built the bike together in an effort to teach him a little about mechanics and how and why things went together. I've saved all my receipts, history records, photos, etc. I have an original shop manual and have used extensively. I'm now 58 and think that the bike would be better off with someone else that can enjoy it as much as I have. She's beautiful, not perfect, but damn close. I haven't ridden her since 2010, but she should start up with fresh fuel and a battery charge. Odometer is not original, but I've put less that 600 miles on her since the rebuild in 1998.
