1968 Honda CL450 Scrambler. Original 6045 miles. Very nice unrestored California black plate bike. Beautiful original blue paint. Never repainted factory paint. No restoration work just routine maintenance done. Has a brand new period correct high end Avon front tire with an almost new(200 miles) rear. New drive chain. Has a beautiful japanese made NOS seat cover that fits great, judge for yourself-it looks great. Very clean condition with very good original chrome on fenders and wheels. The spokes are nice and the hubs are clean. The engine runs amazing, with a perfect idle and dead quiet that proves the low miles, and runs like a rocket. The 5-speed gearbox is smooth as silk. 450 engines with high miles and not maintained properly have a noisy top end. This one is really smooth and quiet. The original exhaust system is rock solid with good chrome with only an almost invisible scratch on the rear exhaust shield (shields are available at about $45 but I like the originality even with the minor scratch.) The bike is totally complete with all the correct hardware (like CB750 sandcast hardware) that have the large "8" stamped on the bolts. It has all the original air boxes and filters. Everything works as it should including lights, turn signals, horn. You can find them restored, but original ones are becoming very rare. And this one is a really really nice original one.
