This is a great running 1994 Wrangler SE Sport that has not been abused or modified. It has the typical rust areas found on these wranglers. The paint is original so there is no surprises under the paint. The pictures pretty much some up the exterior condition. It is solid but far from show condition. I will break down the description in to a few categories starting with mechanical. Engine: The engine starts instantly and makes no sounds of any kind. It idles smooth and has great oil psi. No smoke from anywhere. No apparent leaks. The exhaust manifold/header is the factory OEM Jeep upgrade with the flex joint so it wont crack like they all do. The entire exhaust is leak free and quiet. The engine's idle is smooth and throttle response is instant and impressive. The radiator, hoses and antifreeze were replaced last summer with new. From top to bottom its in excellent shape and runs/sounds like a new engine. Transmission: It is a manual 5spd. It is easy to describe since its perfect. No grinding on up shifting or down shifting. No bearing noises or gear whining. No leaks. The gear oil was recently changed (about 1000 miles ago). Clutch: Its new and has about 1000 miles on it. Clutch pedal feel is precise and predictable. 4X4: The entire system works flawlessly and makes no abnormal sounds or vibrations. The selector lever moves easy and the dash light indicator tells you if your in 4WD. This jeep also has a desirable limited slip posi in the rear as well.Electrical: All gauges and dash lights work perfectly. The radio is an aftermarket CD unit and is hooked up to a nice aftermarket overhead Pioneer speaker panel. The heater and A/C fan both work and make no unusual sounds. The heat works great and the A/C has not worked since the end of last summer (needs a recharge). Front and rear wiper work. All exterior lights work. The check engine light does not come on. If I recall correctly there is nothing wrong with anything electrical anywhere on this truck. Mechanical summary : This Jeep runs perfectly and appears it will last for many miles to come without any major investments. Interior: The interior is very nice and all original. The rear cargo/seat area has no floor carpet. The dash insert panel around the radio has a piece missing on the top but is not visible from the seated position. The drivers door pull strap is missing the chrome trim tabs where it bolts on. The driver seat is showing internal wear to the foam from normal use (the bolsters are a little loose from worn foam). Its not bad at all but I am mentioning everything so there is no surprises. The entire seating areas are all tear free. The center console door hinge needs replacement if you plan to do any rough off-roading. For me its fine since it stays in place for normal road driving. The passenger floor will be mildly wet if it rains hard. This is typical with a removable hardtop roof. I never cared to look because its not bad and the drivers side stays dry. The driver side floor has a rust through area that would benefit from a patch. Both windows roll up and down easy and smooth. The rear door and window open and close as they should with no issues. Overall I would rate the interior at a strong 7 and could be better if cleaned up. Exterior: The exterior is still wearing its original factory paint. There are no dents worth noting. I am sure it has a ding or two but honestly I don't recall any. The body has the usual rust areas which are bubbling under the paint. The right front fender molding and side runner under the door both have mild contact/rub damage and the right front marker light lens is missing a chunk. The fender and door did not get any damage. Its possible with a heat gun that the moldings could be put back in shape. They do not look bad or stand out as an eyesore. I am just being thorough in case you missed it in the pictures. Also the passenger side rear bumper ring is tweaked (easily seen in pictures). Overall the paint shines very nice and looks great. It is certainly worthy of routine wash and wax. Tires/Wheels/Brakes: The tires are all excellent but not new. They is about 50% or better remaining. I posted a picture showing the tread. The spare tire is in the same condition. The wheels are in great shape with no rust or damage. All four center caps are only two years old. The braking system works perfectly. There is no pulling or noise. The rotors are not warped. The brakes are power and stop on a dime. Front End & Suspension: The front end has no play and nothing is bent. The steering is precise and very comfortable to drive. The power steering works great and has no issues or leaks.The rear leaf spring perches have the typical jeep rust areas at the shackle joint. They passed New York State inspection last time but they do need the repair kit installed as they all do. The kits are on Ebay for $120 which covers both sides. I was going to do it but have no time. It will go at least another year if you decide not to do it right away.The springs and shocks all around are excellent and the ride is smooth and quiet (in Jeep standards that is) over bumpy roads. Summary: I hope I haven't turned off any buyer's due to total honesty. I understand the vehicle is not sold until the buyer sees it so there is no use in hiding any cons and just describing the pros. I believe I have described every con in full with 100% accuracy. This is a super strong running excellent driving Wrangler with huge potential to be much nicer with minimal effort.I just bought a fishing boat and its over 5000 lbs so this Jeep will no longer be good for my needs. I have replaced it with a full size Tahoe which is no fun but its has a towing capacity that I need.This Wrangler Looks, Drives and Runs Great! The next owner will be very happy with it.
