I have owned this car since 2005 and it has been wonderful, but I need the cash and must sell. I have not used the car for over 1 year, until just a couple weeks ago, which I and my family took a trip for about 2,200 miles. Before and during the trip I have had maintenance work performed. The work was: ü BMW Dealer checkup ü Oil & Filter change ü New Radiator hoses ü New Radiator Reservoir & Level Detector ü New Radiator Fan Shroud ü New Fan Clutch ü New Water Thermostat ü New Engine Belts As to other work, about 5,000- 7,000 miles ago, I had the below listed work performed: ü New Radiator ü New Brakes & Rotors ü New Spark Plugs ü New Air Filter ü Tires rotated & balanced ü Oil Change ü New Rear Window I have kept this car in good shape and it runs and handles great. Everything is fully functional and works perfectly, with the exception of the below listed Items. The only issues that I have knowledge of are as listed below: Ø The Hood does not stay open; I have a retractable rod (included) that I use. Ø The Roof operates Automatically, but needs assistance dropping into and pulling out of the Storage Compartment. This assistance is very easy to do; On Opening - holding the Automatic button and when the Roof gets to the vertical position, you just let the Roof frame down into the Storage Compartment and continue holding the Automatic button; On Closing – When the Storage Compartment Lid is open, you lift the Roof Frame to the vertical position and continue holding the Automatic button until finished. Ø The Radio and all Electronics including the onboard computer work perfectly, but the Radio back light does not work. You can still see all the information, but you have to look at an angle or shine a light at it to see the letters/numbers. Ø The Tires need to be changed but are ridable (see Pictures). I am an honest person and have not concealed any problems and I do take care of everything I own. I also will not be taken advantage of and am selling this car to someone that is looking for a good working vehicle and will not whine, crab or complain.
