Vehicle Detail
Greetings! I am listing this 1974 Oldsmobile Delta Eighty-Eight with 41,866 miles for a very nice older Gentleman in Sarasota. Although this car is his pride and passion, he has decided that it's time to let her go to another home! This Oldsmobile drives like new, very smooth, actually, I was quite impressed with how exceptionally the car drives. It comes with a 350, 4 barrel engine — they really don't make vehicles like this anymore. The paint job is superb, and I like the fact that they remove the vinyl top and decided the paint look instead. I think it's a nice touch! The A/C works, as everything else too! Owner has all service receipts/records of all the work he has done to the car. No rust anywhere! This car has good history. He purchased it from the original owner which was his neighbor for many, many years. From what I understand the original owner moved from Detroit and drove the car straight from the factory to more or less where the car is located at today. The car has been garaged since day one! On July 10, 2003 the current owner purchased the vehicle from his neighbor's Estate. See photo showing all original manuals, etc. Since then, the new owner has invested a vast amount of money to bring it to its current shape totaling $14,935.26, and more! Here's the things his done to the Delta (some are very recent): 1. Restoration type paint job-removed vinyl roof (Ernie's Trim & Pain Shop, Sarasota, Florida) $5,025.00 2. Changed All Fluids-Filters-Plugs-Wires-Shocks (A-A Auto Repare): $1,530.13 3. New 21/4 Dual Exaust System-Complete (Big Muffler Man, Sarasota): $450.00 4. Replace Alloy Rims & Low profile tires (Allied Tire Service, Sarasota): $1285.34 5. Rebuild Dirvers Side Front Seat (Hoyt's Auto Upholstery): $225.00 6. Replace Steering Wheel-New Wiring to Gas Gauge-Drop Dash Down to Replace all Dash Lamps-Big Job!: $543.67 7. Supply & Install Elect Ronic Distributor Plugs-Cap-Rotor & Air Cleaner: $725.06 8. Install New Clarion 245 CD Radio w/ Speakers (Autotronics, Sarasota): $695.00 9. New Battery (Firestone, Sarasota): $102.5510. New A/C Compressor & Hoses: $1,236.0011. New Motor Mounts-Resurface Manifolds-Radiator Repair (American/European Auto, Sarasota): $1066.0012. New Modular / Accesories (American/European Auto, Sarasota): $450.0013. And more... Contact me if you need more info about this Delta! If this is the type of ride you like you should seriously consider this one. In my opinion, this is a very nice contender that should not bring disappointments! This is a NO RESERVE LISTING, so this is a good opportunity to acquire a nice Delta 88. Serious eBay members only, PLEASE!! As you can see per my feedback I don't play games so extend me the same courtesy. There's a $750.00 deposit due within 24 hours, so make sure this is what you want before bidding, and that your financials are in order too! I will assist buyer with shipping arrangements, but all costs are buyer's responsibility. No Warranties whatsoever. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions via email or at 727.522.2531 TO MEMBERS: I am not a dealer, I provide a service to individuals in need of listing their particular vehicles unless stated above. Most of the people that I list for; don't know how to use a computer, don't have the time, and/or don't want the aggravation. I do not take possession of the vehicle nor the title, I just assist them. It's important to express that I just don't list anybody, I check all paperwork, examine items, and test them myself including driving them if applicable. If I don't feel comfortable with the item, or individual I will pass on the opportunity! I consider myself mechanically inclined , and have a very good eye for paint finish, bodywork, etc, for I used to work for a restoration shop back in my days while attending college! Satisfied eBay members is the most important part of any listing transaction that I make. Know that I will always try to list as accurate as possible in order to avoid unnecessary issues. Of course it's always challenging to satisfy all members, all the time, but I will try to do my best in continuing enjoying my current feedback status with your help! So, bid with confidence and contact me with any questions!
