1974 Honda CB

This is an all original first year CB 550. The only non original parts are the tires, battery and ignition bracket ( period piece moved to handlebar bracket) . Otherwise the bike is completely original. It is the original "Flake Sunrise Orange" paint.The bike has no rust, no leaks, and has been completely tuned up. It runs exactly like a new 1974. The sound is fantastic coming out of the OEM 4 into 4 pipes. The pipes have no rust.There are two very, very small chip/scratch in the tank paint. See pics of up close tank. Otherwise the paint is a "10". The paint and side covers are original also. No scratches, etc. at all. Seat is original as well. No cuts or blemishes.All wiring is original and in excellent condition.The handgrips are the original ones.The factory coating is still on the engine side cases and the front and rear wheel hubs. There is no rust on the spokes. From what I have seen, this bike is as original as you will find and the condition is close to a 10. it would take a total restoration to have a nicer one, tho I think this being an all original, unrestored bike is a better collector than a restored one.
