This car is/was a 1968 Galaxie XL fastback , was originally a 428 Q-code car with a lot of options. I am selling what is left as one package as a PARTS CAR OR PROJECT CAR. The body was mostly rust free. Only body panel that is NOT in great shape is the roof. fenders, hood, quarters, doors and deck lid are extremely solid with either minor surface rust or no rust at all. FRAME is very solid, no through rust, only minor surface rust. All the body gaps actually line up well, doors hood and trunk open and close as they should. ALSO INCLUDED TO MAKE A GREAT DEAL: Wing window chrome is very nice with minor, minor pitting and great shine Set of 11 nice used hashmarks for the XL Pair of roof/quarter emblems for XL in nice used condition Set of 4 tires that have maybe 10,000 miles on them Rear end is 9 3/8 open differential with 31 spline axles Almost all the exterior trim has been sold, windshield and back glass are gone, interior is gone, window regulator for right door is gone. Motor and transmission are gone. Hideaway headlight set up is gone. hood and trunk emblems are gone. Front spindles and disc brake rotors are gone. This car still has MANY great useable parts, could be a great parts car if yours is wrecked or rusted, or if you need convertible parts that interchange. I DO have a clear Missouri title in case you want to build the car from this point. SHIPPING is the responsibility or the buyer. In light of the front spindles being gone, it will take some work to load but I will make sure I am home to help you load this onto a trailer.
