You are viewing the last of a great run of the renowned Alfa Romeo Spyder. This was the last year for a real chrome plated grille, that wasn't made with plastic, and real chrome bumpers, that due to DOT regulations, were replaced the following year with the long sweeping rubber type. This is the best of all generations of a modern day Spyder, that graced the silver screen in, The Graduate, the mid sixties sensation, with Dustin Hoffman behind the wheel. This is a rust free California car, with no accident history. It's equipped with its original matching number 2000CC engine and 5 speed gearbox. Its original advanced Spica fuel injection system is in perfect working order. The twin cam 4 cylinder engine, performs as it should, without leaks or oil consumption between oil changes. The four wheel power assisted disc brakes were just recently rebuilt. It has of course, Pirelli Cinturato tires, with most of their original tread depth. The Ansa exhaust system has very few miles since new. It has the very rare factory hardtop, as well as a new soft top. Its original interior, is good enough for years to come. When you study all the components that make up this car, you come away with the knowledge of what a true sports car really is, and all for less than cost of a decent MGB, and you end up with something, far more sophisticated.
