1949 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe Two Door Coupe up for auction. This car has styling with a purpose. Rebuilt Stovebolt Six 216 six volt runs so smoothly I sometimes don't know if the car is on or not! Under the hood has been gone through i.e. new battery, voltage regulator, new fuel pump, new master cylinder and brakes, just tuned up new points and cap, new aluminum radiator (I have the original black one if you want it) Doesn't burn through oil and even good on gas.... Duel exhaust runs very quiet. Keeps warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shifts smooth...3 speed. All gauges work and work well. All new light bulbs all lights work. Runs and drives great. Took it out on the highway at 55-65 ran just fine. Interior is original and very nice with two toned dash and original modernistic door panels and three ash trays. Floors solid and really nice and have black carpeting on front and rear floors, solid car with no rust holes. This cars body is very straight. The chrome is original and not perfect but still shines up really nice and looks good. There is a small dent in front grille but that's hard to notice. Drivers side door appears to have been painted after the car was painted. 3 inch white wall radial tires all new with the hard-to-find deluxe hubcaps, though I'll give you the original not as flashy trim rings that were on the car originally. Comes with Auto-Matic Electronic curb feelers. For the headlamps I have visors I can give you as well. Also this year has the Vista-View windshield (two piece) that makes driving easier, safer and looks futuristic. Night/Day rear view mirror. This car is the Deluxe with Deluxe trim. Wipers run really smoothly and don't even slow down when I accelerate (Vacuum wipers) What you see is what you get- a '49 Chevy that makes people smile whenever you take her out.
