Vehicle Detail

Genuine ORIGINAL, un-hacked, not butchered, vintage 1934 Plymouth model PF BARN FIND in very nice condition. If you have been looking for an unmolested '34 that is NOT a rot bucket and that has not fallen victim to a mad man with access to a torch or a diabolical axe hacker, then your search is over. Here she is. She was produced between 28 December, 1933 and 28 September, 1934, and weighed in at 2693 pounds, and originally cost 600 dollars. Original color was all black. I purchased this 108-inch wheelbase, Detroit produced, factory independent front suspension car from Willie Harrington of Cedarville, Arkansas, on the 5th of December, 2004. Willie is a Ford Retractable man whose passion is restoring Ford retractables. He purchased this car for rodding, and decided his passion was not in the Plymouth after all. So he never got to her. ( I still have contact with Willie, if you care to call him. ) Well, apparently Willie and I have something in common, because all I have done with her is move from my car trailer into my rented facility, then to into my home garage, then into to my mom's barn, and now just last night, back to my house and threw a tarp over her for the night. So I have kept her in closed storage since I first took her home, with the exception of our trip back from Arkansas together and then last night when I took her back to my place for a little Saturday night parking in the driveway. ( Please view the following site for some 1934 PF information. http://www.ply33.com/Models/PF/ Those of you who know me are well aware that I just don't sell my vehicles; I collect and touch them. Well, last weekend, I took a good inventory of what of projects I THINK I might possibly get to, before I can't do it anymore, and this baby did not make the list. Although I never started the engine, I have had her registered in my name for years and she has a current State of Alabama vehicle registration. I also have the old Arkansas Title from 2004, in Willie's name. I did hang a Ford 9 inch rear under her a few years ago to replace the factory 4:10 rear, but it is just for moving, not secure for driving and I did not fab a drive shaft. An original drive shaft is included. Other than that, the photos speak well for her ( I will post more photos Sunday evening or later ). All window garnish is included. The windshield window crank mechanism is not installed and I can't seem to find it, so it is not included. All window risers are there, as is the passenger side door lock and bezel ring ( hard to find ). The passenger door window glass is broken near the riser base, but the horizontal slider bracket is there. I have another steel headlamp bucket to replace the chome bucket. I do not have a grille shell emblem, any tail lamp parts, or an instrument panel for this car. I have a rear seat, but no front seats. The rims in the photos are not included, but roller rims and wheels are ALONG with YOUR CHOICE of original WIRE SPOKES or original MoPar ARTILLERY wheels. For those of you who need other parts, I do have some other parts that are not included with this auction, just ask and I will list them for you. This car has always worn paint, so you are starting out with a nice one and not a bondo-glazed rusted, pitted surface headache. The passenger's door has a few pinholes on the lower side, but they are not a structural nightmare, and there are two classic rust through areas on the inner rear sides of the body ( even on the nice ones ) one on each side and at the very rear of the body and each can be seen when looking past the rear tire to the inner body pan. They are easily repaired and out of sight on the body. I can securely store for as long as you need, on our property, and I might be able to deliver on my next cross-country run to Oregon via California, this summer. Please come by and take a look. Ask questions and if you would like more photos, please let me know.
