Up for sale (or trade) is a 1984 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. Location: Lemoore, CA Engine: 350 Transmission: 700R4 Transfer Case: NP208 Differentials: 4.11 (front and rear) Tires: 33x12.50R15 The good: Clean Title, Pink Slip in hand. New Seat. Rebuilt Transmission (less than 1 year ago with less than 2k miles on it). Still have receipts (somewhere). Serviced Transfer Case at same time as Trans. rebuild. New Water Pump. Sounds awesome. Straight, Rust Free Body. Alarm. The Bad: Carb needs rebuilt. I am the happy recipient of orders back to Washington state and I don't want to take this vehicle with me. I really DO NOT want to trailer this vehicle to WA, so, if you have a trade offer, feel free to contact me with it. Trades interested in: Quad (for hunting so it must be 4x4), Guns, travel trailer, SnugTop Xtra Vision Truck Cap, Horse/Stock Trailer, Boat, Cash, ????. Cash will hold a higher value than trade stuff unless I'm convinced your trade offer is something I have to have.. Q: I see Idaho plates. Does this pass California smog? have cats, etc? A: I bought the truck here, in CA, last December. It passed smog when I bought it. I have not done anything to the emmisisons systems, have only replaced the water pump, have had the transmission rebuilt and transfer case serviced. Q: How far does it go once you put it in gear? Does it run like crap, as in won't accelerate/has no power, or does it drive normally and then just stall out? A: Once you put it in gear and go to give it gas it starts to stall. You can flutter the gas peddle and it will keep running and moving to where I want it (thats around my driveway, lawn, and street in front of my house). A mechanic told me it sounds the carb is failing (floats) so I need to have it rebuilt or replaced. I have disclosed as much as I know about the vehicle. The vehicle is sold AS IS with NO guarantees. Inspections of the vehicle by a licensed mechanic are welcome at buyers expense. Local Pick-Up only!
