Vehicle Detail
Very clean 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera C2. This Porsche is meticulously cared for and in pristine condition. Black exterior on black leather interior. Sport suspension and sport exhaust. Low original 78k miles on chassis and less then 10k miles on factory replacement engine. The new OEM Porsche Factory engine was installed by Porsche professionals at Vision Motorsport (visionmotorsports.com) and is under warranty (complete engine swap incl. labor cost $18k). Brand new sport suspension, ride height adjustable: H&R Club Sport Coilovers (cost $3000) This suspension adds great performance and amazing handling for track and is still comfortable for every day driving. The suspension was professionally installed by RSS (stuttgartperformance.com) and is under warranty. New 19 inch 5-spoke Wheels and new tires (cost $3000). New Sparco Pro2000 driver seat (cost $1100) and the factory leather seat in perfect condition is also included in this sale. Yellow LeMans headlight covers and silver OEM Porsche hood crest. Lots of money spent to build this Porsche. Hoping this 996 goes to another Porsche enthusiast! No reserve auction - Good luck bidding! ** I know this will not sit well with some folks, I just bumped my starting bid by $2k to a more realistic number. This 996 is solid, has a factory replacement engine which cures the early 996 MS failure issues, and should easily sell to the right enthusiast who recognizes all the work put into this Porsche. Engine part number is 996-100-996-NX which was developed by Porsche in 2004 to prevent MS failure and resulting engine failure. New clutch and flywheel, over $18,000 in engine work alone, I have all receipts! The new engine was installed in May of 2009 and just last month received the 10k miles maintenance service. Other recent upgrades within the last few months are listed above, and include new tires and wheels (19 inch), new HR Club Sport coil over suspension, new Sparco Pro2000 driver seat. All in all this 996 has over $40k invested in it. Even if you bought it at $25k you are getting a screaming deal. This is a no reserve auction, if you bid $1 Dollar you can buy it for $22k. My loss, your gain. Good luck bidding....
