I found this jewel a little over a year ago, bought it brought it home and planed to do a restoration for a FUN SUMMER TOY. The drivers door handle didn't work so I took it apart, fixed it but did not put the door panel completely back... the top piece is in the car. The engine turned over fine...previous owner said that he checked compression and it is all good. It looks like there were newr wires and ignition parts...but I don't like the wires. The car does not have a gas tank (you can find them on line)... and needs floorboards replaced (they are available too). It appears that someone did a restoration some years ago and went for a more comfortable cloth interior.... I think with a little work and cleaning it would be fine for a daily driver. The car needs brakes, but cooling system appears good as far as I can tell. I believe almost all the basic parts are here , and there are a lot of places selling parts to restore these little roadsters. I was not planning on turning it into a show car....but making it a fun little run about. Alas, I am moving again and don't want to move it with me...too many projects and not enough time. I bought a new car cover for it, which is yours....I am listing it with a VERY LOW starting bid and NO RESERVE. I hope someone gets to enjoy driving a great british sports car this summer.
