Up for auction is a nice Land Rover project truck. It's a 2002 Discovery with a blown head gasket. The truck runs very well and is dry, but it clearly has a blown head gasket with the coolant blowing out of the exhaust. The fix is about $300 in parts/ machine work on the heads. It's about a 2 day job if you never did it before. Step by step instructions are readily available online. These trucks are surprisingly easy to work on. It's good project because there is very little rust on the chassis and the body is really straight. The truck was wired with an aftermarket stereo and flip down DVD payer which were removed by the previous owner. Stock radio and plugs are included with the truck. You can see where the flip down screen was in the headliner photo. I am starting the auction at $1 with no reserve price, so someone is going to get a great deal.
