1990 Honda Civic DX 3 door Hatchback, 1.5 motor, 5 speed stick, No A/C, No power steering, No power locks/windows/seats, No radio (stereo, amp, and boombox was stolen many years ago 1999? with a case of cd's, but there are 4 speakers install, front pair are Brand New Pioneers, plus there's hook up for Sirius Radio) ORIGINAL OWNER.... only 121,145 miles on a 22 year old car, runs strong almost everything been replaced close to 3 years ago (less than 4000 miles on all the replacements but car has been sitting (but running & driving around weekly) since 2009, Nothing wrong with the car just can not afford to own two cars now). I've invested nearly $3000 in the Motor, NEW clutch kit for transmission & mounts, NEW Rear Monroe shocks, NEW Front Monroe struts suspension, NEW Radiator, New Battery 6/2011, and NEW Master Cylinder & brake pads & rotors, drums & shoes (new rear wheel cylinders) the ONLY issue right now is the original stock 60 amp alternator is "humming" [I can include a rebuilt Alternator (2 year Warranty) & Belt (Not installed) only if my my asking price is met] other than that it very strong motor a lot of power for stock. the only mod is the BRAND NEW Muffler I purchased a few months ago for $150+ (see ALL pictures below). As for body damage never in major wreck had a couple minor fender and rear bumper damage and repair or replaced (NOTE: the same color bumpers front in back while having the rear bumper replaced I paid the Body Shop extra to go with 1991 Si Bumpers to change the DX look to Si, so these bumpers are not paint over stocks the front bumper wasn't even damaged), some minor rusting all around the windshield (see picture below), driver door "door stopper" pops when opening closing door very minor (door never damaged just needs spot weld), passenger door has small damage (seen in picture below) and VERY minimal door dings (maybe just a few if that?), normal scuffs, and scratches over 22 years... needs a paint job cause clear coat is fading on roof and passenger side, as for the Driver side (see pictures). The interior has just the one rip in the driver seat is all (see picture below) the back luggage security cover has a couple cracks at the hinges but nothing major. The rims & tires are 15 inch (stock was 13 in.) Sears Auto installed slightly wide tires they do rub not normal driving just turns, driveways, speed bumps, heavy loads, etc. Otherwise all the pictures below show you the Great over all condition this 22 year old Honda, ORIGINAL OWNER, VERY LOW MILEAGE is in. looks spotless in this shot this and the rear is the best appearance as for the passenger side, few scuff on rear bumper, & around the windshield needs a little TLC a perfect driver side shot... see old muffler had holes in it, lol (PS: the 2000 VW Beetle GLS you'll see in pictures will be listed later read next picture) driver side is perfect condition no damage or waves just a couple door dings (the black VW Beetle you see is selling on the same time as my Honda, right now)ask about my 2 car package deal buy both save $$$$... lol I'm selling that black 2000 VW Beetle you see in front of the Honda, oh here's one picture below. (below) sounds great... and not loud at all. also good thread left on the tires mirror finish... nice and new (very little scrape at bottom right got a $50 discount on it) Interior has always been protected from the sun put 25 miles on since this picture, that was over 6 months ago too... Honda just sits and I start it up twice a week and drive it around the block a few times that's it. dash cover itself is 22 years old bought it when I purchased the Honda new in February 1990... the dash has never seen the sun. almost showroom clean perfect rear seats... no one ever in 22 years sat back there (being single & no children helped, lol). Clean STOCK motor, runs strong a lot have been replaced two minor issues right now the Alternator hums but works good keeps a strong charge and around the valve cover/head a very very small oil leak a single (dime size) drop on the ground per month sometimes every other month not bad a all. this is the only serious issue with the Honda (body wise) is this rust around the corners of the windshield. I'll tell you in full detail how this rust is a Honda Dealer's fault (no those are not cracks just some red reflection?) this is the only damage in the interior, otherwise perfect just a vacuum job (lol in the back seat that's a album cover of a rapper) ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Any questions, email me I'll give you more details of the Civic if needed from this long winded listing... Ohh! and go search the Car Fax Score, this Civic has a 110% clean history (request VIN number if needed to make search) also above on Auto-Check check out this Civics score... 40+ out of their 30 avg. too (search eBay you'll see ALL other Civics in low 20's or even a "5" out of the Avg.) AMAZING AUTO-CHECK SCORE!!! way way above the average score! Pick-up, Shipping, Insurance, DMV Registration, CA Smog Test, etc. There are no DMV penalties on the Honda (2008 tags) it perfectly runs, drives but I have it on non-operational, the reason again is I just can not afford insurance, smog, & tags on 2 cars so I just put in on Non-Op. I had an appointment with my local Calif. DMV on 3/5/2012 to find the out status when the car is sold how much if any penalties the Buyer has to pay... The answer is NONE... Since I placed the car on PNO (Non-Operational) in 2009 that put the fees on hold. So the only DMV issues & fees in CA (don't know the other States fees) is: Step 1 - Proof of Car InsuranceStep 2 - Smog Test get a CertificateStep 3 - Bill of Sale & *Car TitleStep 4 - Pay Car Sales Tax (8.75%) on the car & normal annual registration fee for tags (approx. $80-100) *also I applied and paid for a new Vehicle Title "Pink Slip" as the original was misplaced Most people put cars on Non-Op cause it's not running or wrecked or whatever? my reason again was for financial reasons only!!!
