Vehicle Detail

1998 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 SUV 138,569 miles, 4.6 engine This vehicle is equipt with the following, Remote start and door lock/unlock, third row seat, rear climate controls as well as radio controls, AM/FM/Cassette/6 disc CD changer and 460 watt Pioneer amplifier with newer Pioneer speakers replacing the stock speakers, cloth interior, towing package, newer tires on the stock 17" wheels, spare rim has been replaced last year, lighted mirrored visors, exterior window visors for driving in the rain, 4x4/AWD/4hi/4low, Air conditioning and heat work great, spot light installed (I put that in for camping and hunting) K&N air filter, throttle body spacer, newer exhaust manifolds, new rear end last year, new radiator 3 mo. ago, newer shocks, new headlights (old ones were showing age, not broken). This truck has proven well for my family for years. We take it camping (towing a pop up camper) and I used it for hunting. (Trail riding, never abused or for mudding) In the winter this truck was unstopable and a pleasure to drive. Now, what it needs. The rocker panels were rusted pretty bad and need to be replaced. (AutoZone has replacement panels for under $60 per side) I also noticed that after I had the new radiator put in it I had to put in extra antifreeze into the resivour about once every two weeks, about 1/2" low. I do not see any drips, except a little oil and the truck does not smoke. I called my mechanic and he said worst case senerio is that the head gasket may be going someday. He said a new head gasket would cost about $600 installed and would stop any oil drips and antifreeze loss and make the truck run for a long long time. I welcome any questions, inspections and test drives. I am selling this as-is and the winning bidder will be responsible for all taxes, title transfers and any other fees associated with registering a vehicle.
