I am at my Minnesota location until the last couple days of the auction. For sale to the highest bidder is a targa top Corvette outfitted with Greenwood aerodynamics. It’s gorgeous, fun and fast enough to pin you to the seat. I’m told it’s got a ZZ4 crate motor, but I can’t visually verify that – if you know of some number or identifier I can look for, call me and I will check for it. It does have aluminum heads with angled spark plugs. It has the car’s correct port fuel injection, but with injector and throttle body upgrades. Performance and power is enhanced with an ATI Super Damper vibration dampener. It has an after market 4-row aluminum radiator. When the engine was installed, the AC compressor & condenser were removed. The 6 speed transmission shifts up & down smoothly. Suspension is tight with no rattles or shakes. It appears to have 2 new shocks in the front, but the service suspension light is on. The car gets a great sound with nice cadence from a complete front to back after market exhaust system from heat wrapped headers to the dual exhaust. It starts and idles nice, drives excellent and stops straight. The interior is very nice for a Corvette of this age. The dashpad and door panels are in very good condition. The driver’s seat shows some wear from getting in and out, but the seams are not ripped and the passenger seat is nice. The carpet doesn’t show much wear and is not torn at all, although the driver’s area has some stains. The turn signal switch is loose in the steering column and doesn’t click up or down. All glass is good, including the smoked targa top. The car has an after market CD player with a face plate in the glove box, but we can’t make it fit on the player and am guessing it’s incorrect for the model. The power seats work with the exception of the lumbar adjustment. Both power windows work. There’s no evidence of any body damage or repairs. The shiny bright paint appears to be original – no evidence of any overspray or other tells of a repaint. There are some very small chips in the tops of the fenders and across the front of the hood from driving. It’s wearing $1500 worth of 4 brand new tires still having nubs on them. The car was treated to Greenwood aerodynamics and stability improvements. The ground effects package and rear wing appears to have been added when the car was new, matching the original paint perfectly. Greenwood states they designed the front spoiler to direct air to the radiator to improve cooling. The rear bumper with a tunnel pan and rear wing are designed to create air down-force, reduce drag and improve stability. The side rockers help cancel high speed lift in the wheel wells. There is a clean CARFAX history on the car. It shows 92,803 miles on last report. For some reason when the Arizona title was issued it got marked Box C (not actual) instead of Box A (actual), and we are attempting to correct this error but most states would title the car as miles Exempt anyway (being over 10 years old). We took this car in on trade just the way it sits and have described what we know about it. We own it right, so are offering at NO RESERVE. It’s very enjoyable to drive as-is, and needs no real work.
