Up for bid is my 1978 Dodge Challenger (manufactured by Mitsubishi). It has the largest available 2.6 liter 4 cylinder Hemi head engine and 5 speed manual transmission, ice cold a/c, power mirrors, rear defogger, am/fm cassette, power steering, reclining bucket seats, power 4 wheel disc brakes, overhead console w/info, power antenna (not working). This car is all original except the carburetor has been upgraded to a Weber which made vast improvement in the driveability of the car. The original carb and air cleaner comes with the sale of the car. This Challenger has never been wrecked or ever had any rust anywhere. I have been over this car completely with a spot rot gauge which tells if there has been any repair work of any kind or any body filler and it has none. The paint on the car looks real good except the roof is showing signs of fading and there is one scratch in the driver's bottom door. There are no dents or body damage anywhere else on the car. There are pictures of the roof and the scratch in the door. The interior is all original with no rips or tears. The trunk is in perfect condition with shiny blue paint on it. We have just went through all the brakes and front end and had a complete tune up, flushed the anti-freeze, changed oil/filter, and checked all fluid levels. The front end is in perfect condition. The engine runs perfect with no knocks, ticks, or smoke. Transmission shifts smoothly and clutch works as it should. This car has blue tint on the windows which can be removed if you like. This is the first yr Dodge brought back a Challenger since 1970-1974 models. This Challenger gets many compliments anytime it is driven and turns many heads because it's rare to even see one of these on the road especially in the condition this one is in. This car is very road worthy and you can fly in and drive it home. This car is sold AS IS with NO warranty. $300 deposit within 24 hrs of the auction ending by Pay Pal.
