Red 1966 ford mustang convertible with no reserve price. We purchased this mustang in 2002 as a father son project. The project began with a good solid car in driving condition. The flour pans were soft ( this a common problem with convertibles) so we replaced them.Along with the following new parts. Windshield and gasket,convertible top,pads,boot, cover & rear window. Complete upholstery including dash pad,door,quarter,& kick panels,carpet trunk mat,speedometer bezel, glove box,sun visors,top latch mounts, rear view mirror,fender and hood script. Also new turn signal switch,,all weather striping,all lighting lenses,bezels,new bumpers and guards,antenna, gas cap,header plate and trunk lock, all new door handles inside and out and window cranks.I'm sure i left out a lot of new items. What we didn't replace with new we polished. The car was originally blue. We decided to paint an original 1966 Mustang "ragoon red". It was also thought to go with a V8 but the six cylinder ran so good we decided to keep it. At today's gas prices I'm glad we did.. Ten years of part time restoration went in to this beautiful car. It may or may not win any trophy's at car shows.But it turns heads with thumbs up every day. This project is completed time to start the next. (Rear 1966 license plate does not go with car.)
