Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. Oregon car with 48k original two owner miles. Absolutely zero rust anywhere - as beautiful on the bottom as it is on the top. Loaded up with leather and power everything. Interior and exterior are low-mile nice, too, with extremely clean, soft leather. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired LT1 engine and 4L60E transmission, it puts down plenty of power and the 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 and G80 build codes) maximizes the traction to the pavement. Trailer preparation "tow package" equipped - car rated to pull 5000 but never towed or had a hitch installed. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Great driving car, get in and drive anywhere. NO RESERVE. Questions? Click "ask seller a question" or call Fred at 315-246-0612. Please allow time for a response as I work 8-5 at a regular job in Charleston. Car available for showing in Mt. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy, runs STRONG. TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts well. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is extremely straight with no door dings, no dents, no repair, no issues. No rust ever, no bondo, nothing. Way above average body. Paint: Light Driftwood Metallic paint is extremely nice with very few normal rock chips and scratches: one 2 mm chip on the hood, and a couple small scuffs on the bumpers as pictured. Way above average paint. Wood: Side paneling is in very nice shape with no notable dings/chips. Applique is still shiny as it came from the factory - not faded or dulled at all. Upper fake wood molding is in very nice original shape with 3 small (less than 1 inch) spots touched up as seen on on tailgate trim. Other: All lower chrome trim is in great shape - the only dings are a couple on the front bumper as seen in pics. No cracks or tears in the plastic bumpers. All the ORIGINAL rubber side trim is present. Glass is all nice including the original Sungate windshield. Black rubber and plastic around roof rack and vista roof glass are all still nice and shiny, not chalky. Solid undercarriage and frame - beautiful factory body-color floors showing still-silver gas tank straps. It's amazing how nice these cars look underneath when not exposed to road salt. Aluminum wheels are in great shape with no pitting or scuffs. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is exceptionally nice. All seats are in great shape and the leather is still soft. Carpet shows some very minor wear in the usual spot at the drivers left foot (from setting the parking brake) but has not worn through. All four factory floormats still present. Dash and all door panels are in fabulous shape with no cracks or fading. Headliner is perfect, and steering wheel is exceptionally nice with no dye wear. Non-smoker's car - no smoke odors. Extremely nice interior overall, consistent with very low mileage. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) ALL the power stuff works properly - power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm cassette, power antenna, rear window release, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, rear wiper and rear defroster all work properly. Automatic level control works, too. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully as you'd expect of the low miles. Steering is tight, suspension tight, and alignment is good. Brakes work well, newer pads and shoes. Tires have about 50% tread remaining on a matched set of TigerPaws. Solid exhaust pipes and mufflers with no leaks - factory stainless steel exhaust is still shiny. Limited slip works properly and rear end is quiet. Passed Oregon emissions test three months ago - no emissions codes present or in history (I'll show you) - no reason it won't pass now - check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) GREAT driving car - hop in and drive anywhere. I've had a lot of these wagons - this is an exceptional one in the finer details. Short version terms: Small deposit as listed (but fast) by overnight mail or Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 5 days by cash in person, wire transfer, or Wells Fargo cashier's check. Will meet you at location or your transporter by appointment. No administrative fee on this auction. Any other costs - tax, emissions inspection, registration, etc. are buyer's responsibility - see full terms. 30 days to pick up. Temporary tags available at local license bureau. WILL PICK YOU UP AT THE CHARLESTON, SC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT weekday evenings or any time weekends. Inspections are encouraged, but by appointment only - please email or call. Note that pickup times are by appointment only also - just call! Prepaid vehicles scheduled for transport can be picked up any time with at least 24 business hours' notice - have your driver call me. I'm happy to drive the car to a nearby large parking lot for easier truck loading.
