I am listing this vehicle for a friend of mine, it is a very nice 1992 Mercedes Benz SL500 Convertible Hardtop Coupe with the fast and smooth shifting 5.0m V8 This Car was completely repainted its original Black color with high quality PPG brand paint ad clear. The owner of this car, wanted all small dents or door dings and a better paint job than when purchased so since dad owns a body shop it was a done deal. The paint is two years old and it looks stunning with the AMG Black 18inch wheels. The wheels are wider in the rear and the tire size is 275/40/18 and 245/40/18 fronts. The interior is all original and the carpets are in very good condition with the only two flaws are the worn out tear in the drivers seat, and a taer in the passenger door panel. The dash and center console are in very good condition with no cracks or scratches. The original radio will be included with the car but does have a working Pioneer head unit. The car had a full tune-up at 100,000 miles and recently had the fuel pump and fuel filter,crank sensor, and belt tensioner replaced. The muffler was replaced with a 50 series FlowMaster including a AMG chrome exhaust tip for that unique 5.0 V8 tone. The windows are all tinted correctly 20% and add that stealth look as well as the original tail lamps were also smoked black. The overhead dome light is not working and the door actuators for power locks need to be fixed but the doors can be locked and unlocked with the key. The original transponder key is broken and could be replaced by the new owner. This car is accident free and does have a clean California Title. The car is and continues to be stored in a garage and mechanically is in excellent condition. Please feel free to contact me and I will answer all questions to the best of my abbility.
