You are viewing a truly exceptional original example of the last generation of an MGB, with the best options it could have been ordered with. Wire wheels and Overdrive, set this one ahead of most of the MG's, that British Leyland produced in the final chapter of this great line of classic British sports cars. This low mileage California MG is surprisingly the best MGB I've ever driven, and I've driven every form of the B series, that was produced. The body is straight and rust free with no accident history, and most of all, it doesn't leak, and I mean no leakage of any fluids throughout this car. My Mercedes leaves a few drops of oil in the driveway, but this MG is dry as a bone. Take a look at this excellent, and completely original interior, including all of the upholstery, all of the carpeting, right down to the factory sound deadening strips below the rubber mats, still with original factory Vermilion paint (see picture). The original dash is free of cracks, as it has always been garaged, and not left out in the California sun. Everything works as it should, including all lighting throughout, even the time keeping clock. In the boot (trunk), you will find the original tonneau cover, top cover, and the complete orignal tool kit, and in the glove box, are the original manuals. I've just had the following service done, only as a measure of preventive maintainence. A new clutch and all hydraulics, while the original still worked, and is included for your inspection. New lower control arm bushings and trunions, due to age, and not wear. New catylitic converter and muffler for the same reason, and the originals are included as well. It will be sold with a fresh smog certificate for California residents if the car stays in state. If you really want an MGB that needs nothing, and can cross the US, without problems, I invite anyone who hasn't experienced wine country, to make a vacation out of buying this special MG and touring Napa and Sonoma county, with the top down, and either drive it home, or I can arrange shipping to your door.
