You are looking at a 1959 short wide bed 1/2 ton truck. It is a one owner truck, the title is still in the original owner's name. May 14, 1959 is the Issue date on the title. This truck would be a good candidate, for a restoration, I believe all major components, motor,trans, rear axle, front suspension, and seat are original to this truck. Front fenders and grill filler panel, will need to be replaced, bumper is also questionable, hood is excellent. Cab needs steps, cab corners, and floor panel work, all parts are available, no rust above the windshield. Driver's door glass is broke, windshield is good. Engine seems to run good, all gauges work deluxe heater works wiper's and light's also operate as they should. I never drove the truck very far because the gas tank in not hooked up, and only a one gallon tank is supplying fuel to the engine. Brakes work but grab, parking brake works. Drove around the block, drive train works good, trans shifts smooth no strange noise steering is not loose. This truck could be restored ( having most of It's original parts is a good feature), but the winning bidder will have to decide. A short bed fleetside truck is rare nowadays.
