1974 Plymouth Duster, car has 360 striping that was already on it when I purchased the car last summer however, the car has a 318. The car is driveable and the engine runs strong and is painted blue which is the correct color for the car however, I am unsure if it is the original motor. It has an Edelbrock Performer Intake and Edelbrock 600 carb that has been recently rebuilt. The car also has dual exhaust and an automatic transmission. Overall, the car is very solid and only has very minor body rust in various locations. The trunk is extremely solid and the tires are in decent shape. I do not know much about the car, I just purchased it in the summer of 2011 with plans to restore it but, I no longer have the storage space and that is the only reason I am selling it. The interior is complete and the seats are in decent shape for their age however, the carpet and head liner are needing replaced. The passenger side interior door panel also has minor damage and needs replaced. The car also has an easily fixable rust hole on the driver's side floor board that appears to have been caused from a leak at some point over the years. Other than that, the rest of the floor pans are extremely solid and need no work. The car was originally tan and the previous owner said the poor silver paint job was added about 6 or 7 years ago. I am unsure of how many miles the car has because none of the gauges work which could be an easy fix. This car is extremely solid and would make an excellent candidate for a very easy restoration. With some TLC, interior work, and a new paint job this car would be a real head turner.....I have had several comments about how solid it appears and these cars are becoming extremely hard to find in this type of driveable condition. All of the chrome exterior trim pieces appear to be present also. I am not sure what transmission the car has but, I'd guess it to be a 904, I also do not know which rear end it has because I have not checked. I'd guess it to be the original whatever came standard with the 318 cars. The car is sold as is and the buyer is responsible for pick-up and a 500 dollar deposit is required upon auction end. Cash, certified check, money order, or pay-pal will only be accepted. This car fires right up and I have driven it locally all summer, this would make a great project to driver around as you restore it.
