The body on this gorgeous and unique Mustang is laser straight and has great gaps. The body on this car was refinished to a beautiful condition and then treated to a 200+ hour paint job to give it the look of an old forgotten race car. The craftsmanship is absolutely amazing and the details are outstanding. The car has been given a fake rusted look and faded glory racing livery. The car itself is in excellent condition!!! This is a great driving car!!! The car has been lowered and given a period race style side exit exhaust and believe it or not the car tires do not rub while turning!!! The car has a host of great features including a healthy 289ci V8 with a Edelbrock 4bbl carb, Ice Cold A/C, Power Steering and even disc brakes!!! The interior of the car is all new and in excellent condition. This is an excellent driving car that turns heads everywhere you. Everything on the car is in great working order. All of the lights, signals etc.. are in great working order. This car has had lots of tasteful upgrades along the way and the car is truly a great driving Mustang. Click to enlarge Exterior: This Mustang looks great finished in a classic period race livery and is sitting on a new set of Torq thrust style wheels that have been aged to match the paint. When the car was painted, it was done properly. The body work on the car is very nice and the body is laser straight. All of the rubber seals are new and in great condition. The undercarriage of this car is nice and clean it appears to have its original floor pans. The "aged" finish looks absolutely spectacular and took over 200 hours to complete. It is an amazing piece of art, the skill and technique is absolutely amazing. The fake rust bubbles by the rear window are amazing... and yes it is FAKE. The details are incredible, from the rock chips and faded race stickers to the exhaust stains just above the side exit exhaust. The exterior is really set off by the great looking wheels and tires. The overall theme and concept of the car is really one of the coolest things I have ever seen. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in great shape. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic White interior of this mustang is new and in excellent condition. The front and rear seats are new and in excellent shape. They are free of stains and tears. The carpet is new and in nice shape as well and free of stains.. The headliner and door panels are also new and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is in nice shape and is free of cracks etc... The cars radio has been removed and replaced with a period style radio delete panel. A new more modern unit could be added and installed in the glove box. The entire car was insulated with "dynamat" to really give the car a nice amount of insulation. The car features ice cold modern air conditioning as well as a new/rebuilt heater core. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to waste the weekend away. Click to enlarge Engine: The 289ci V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine runs great and features an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, and a great sounding duel exhaust system. The engine was treated to a new chrome dress up kit that has been "aged" as well to match the theme of the exterior of the car. It is really really neat looking. The transmission shifts great and is in great working order. This car features front wheel disc brakes which stops the car very well. Best of all there is no side to side pull while under braking since the car doesnt have drum brakes. The engine sounds great with its "true" dual exhaust exiting the side of the car really gives the car an excellent sound and completes the "Retired Champion" theme. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The gauges have been neatly upgraded to much more accurate units that work very well. With all of the subtle upgrades and modern brakes this car really is a blast to drive!!! All of the upgrades compliment each other and none of it takes away from the classic appeal of the car. I havent had so much fun and pleasure driving a classic car in a long time. This really is a great car to spend time in!!! It is really something special to drive such a great driving car with power steering, disc brakes, ice cold A/C and have that great weathered look.
