We have owned this car for many years and have fallen in love with the reliability, performance, fuel economy, and amazing ride quality this Mercedes has offered. We have treated the car with the best maintenance a Mercedes diesel enthusiast has to offer with military diesel mechanics in the family Below is a list of some of the things within the past couple years I can remember has been replaced and/or serviced. MICHELIN tires ride smooth and have consistent wear. Full transmission serviced (done at Mercedes Benz with factory fluids) Full front end rebuilt (ball joints/control arms, upper, lower, tie rods, sway bushings, ect)Complete fuel delivery system rebuilt. (all fuel lines replaced, both filters, new diesel injectors, injection pump serviced, glow plugs).In addition to above a DIESEL PURGE was completed - which rides engine of carbon deposits as well as injector nozzles, piston and pump.Vehicle tuned by Speed Tuning in Spencerville, MD - The difference is AMAZING. An increased in both power and fuel economy.Other minor services, brakes, ect, ectRecently CEL illuminated - resolved yesterday by replacing the AIR MASS Sensor. The vehicle runs and drives excellent. Tracks straight as an arrow. After the diesel purge cleaning as done the engine is amazingly quiet and I guarantee you that you would find a better overall driving Mercedes E300 anywhere in the United States. Its hard to let this vehicle go but its time for us to move on. We have two new Mercedes in the garage now. Its a sad time for us but this will feel like a new vehicle for someone special. This vehicle was always garaged kept but with our recently new car purchase this car lost its spot in the garage. It has a black exterior so please expect normal sand blasting on the front end of the car with a few touch up spots here and there. The exterior still holds its shine without having to have it detailed or waxed. I did have the front headlights buffed out last month and they look great! The interior is CLEAN and I would rate it a 9 out of 10. Having two kids the MBtex has held up exceptionally well. We are selling it no matter what so this is your lucky day as we are running this auction at $1 NO RESERVE. Highest bid goes home with a new vehicle. I believe I still have a pile of service records from the original owner as well. We are the 2nd owner.
