1974 Triumph TR-6!!! Here is a gorgeous 1974 Triumph TR-6 finished in the factory correct Triumph Carmine Red over a Honey Tan interior!!! This is a great looking car but it is also a great driving car. This is a rust free Triumph TR-6 that has spent several decades in Arizona and is one of the most solid TR-6s I have come across. The classic inline 6 cylinder engine sounds great and provides plenty of power. The engine is smooth running, has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool. This car drives excellent and has been taken on many long road trips without missing a beat. This is a very nice driver. The TR-6 is one of the most coveted affordable classic British sports cars and with the top down on a spring day its easy to understand why. This is a solid TR-6 that is in very good shape, well sorted and is surely to make its new owner happy! Click to enlarge Exterior: The Classic Carmine Red paint on this classic looks great for its age. The paint job is probably about 6 years old or so and is of nice quality. It has been driven and enjoyed so there are some minor imperfections that have been touched up but overall the car looks great. As you can see from the photos it does look quite good when it is cleaned up. The chrome is in nice shape. I would venture to say that the bumpers are original and the both bumpers and free of pitting however and while not perfect, are still in nice shape. The convertible top is new and is in perfect shape. The windshield is brand new and just replaced due to a minor stone chip. It also comes with a nice "boot" cover as well that finishes the car off nicely when the convertible top is down. Overall this is a very good looking looking TR-6!!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful "Honey Tan" interior is in excellent shape. The seats look gorgeous contrasting with the red exterior. The seat upholster is all free of rips, tears and stains. Really the seats dont show much if any wear. The door panels are also in excellent shape. All of the gauges on the car work as do all of the lights. The dashboard is free of cracks and splits that commonly plague these cars and the wood dash is in excellent condition and is a thing of beauty. The radio also is functioning and music can be heard from two speakers that are mounted on the center console. Overall the interior of this classic is in very nice shape. Click to enlarge Engine: This classic 1974 Triumph TR-6 features a great sounding inline 6 engine that runs great! The car starts right up and runs like a top without blowing any smoke!!! The engine runs beautifully without skipping a beat and emits that great British sports car sound through a performance exhaust. This TR-6 really sounds amazing and the upgraded exhaust really makes the drive exciting. This car feels tight as you drive it down the road. The master and slave cylinder have recently been rebuilt and the clutch and brake pedals have great feel. The clutch is nice and has plenty of "grab." The suspension and steering is very tight and feels great going down the freeway or carving corners. The 4-speed transmission shifts perfectly and the shift linkage is nice and tight. This is a very smooth driving car that drives beautifully. This is a fun car to cruise and enjoy classic British motoring. Driving this car reminds you why so many people coveted these cars and have such fond memories of them.
