I have up for auction a 1970 AMC AMX orginally a 390 4sp Go Pac car but now a 304 4sp car. I do believe it has the orig twin grip rear with 3.54's. The car had been taken apart partialy to start a resto and some of the parts were lost. Mostly interior pieces. The steering collumn, shifter, seats and some of the soft interior pieces were missing. I got the car home and put a steering collumn in it. a set of seats that need recovering. I have a shifter that I just need to get some linkage for and will put that in. I disconnected the fuel line and ran the car on gas from a bottle. After cleaning the points up it started right up and seems to run fine. The tach seems to work fine. All lights work.The orig 4 piston caliper brakes are there and seem to be nice. I see no leaks. Grill is broken but very easy fix.The front of the car is super solid with no rust areas in any of the engine bay panels, gussets or radiator support. The interior floors have been patched at some time in the usual spot in the lower wells behind the seats. The lower quarters have been patches and will need to be done again at some point. The trunk floor is nice and solid with one small spot in the corner near the rear bumper bracket. The dash pad is in pretty nice shape. The woodgrain metal dash overlay was missing. They can be bought here on e-bay or look for a decent used one. The carpet is long gone and you will need a new one. I took the trunk lock out as there is no key for it but its with the car. The tires are really nice on a set of keystones that aren't perfect but will clean up nice. The car has the orig date correct radiator in it. All glass with car and it even has a tinted rear glass. The pass side door glass was boken out but I have a replacement glass to go with the car. Please ask any and all questions as this car is sold as is as described. The car is black with a black interior but was orig Glen Green with a black interior. I reserve the right to end auction early as I have it advertised in other places for sale.
